Delete your ExpeditionSpot account
You can delete your ExpeditionSpot account and its data at any time, or just some of your data.
In the app
- Open ExpeditionSpot and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Without the app
Email clay@lootsnap.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my ExpeditionSpot account". We will confirm the request and delete the account.
What is deleted
- Your account: name, email address, profile picture and sign-in details.
- Your trips, recordings (routes, photos, videos, notes), posts, reactions, votes and pending guide suggestions.
- Your device notification tokens and settings.
Deletion is completed within 30 days. Encrypted backups that may contain your data expire within 60 days. Suggested guide edits that were already accepted into a river guide stay in the guide without your name, and trips you planned with a crew stay with the rest of the crew without you. We keep only what the law requires us to keep.
Deleting some of your data, keeping the account
You don't have to delete your account to remove things from it. In the app you can delete any trip, recording, photo, video or post of yours: open it, then choose Delete. It is removed at once and from our systems within 30 days (encrypted backups expire within 60). You can also email clay@lootsnap.com from the address you sign in with and say what you would like deleted.
